Reclaimed and Restained Woodworking is a custom shop located in the suburbs of Chicago.
It's our mission is to recapture the beauty, character, and story of wood that was grown from trees planted around the time the Declaration of Independence was signed and harvested around the time of the Civil War in order to build barns and structures.
Each piece has been rescued from structures facing demolition by man or nature in the Midwest.
Some people may see weathered old beat up wood but, we see potential by simply peeling away its worn layers, exposing its original beauty and giving it a new life in a new form for your home. With every piece that goes out of our shop, we attach a brief description of where and how old your reclaimed wood is, and what it was used for.
